Why am I getting a '404' Error when I try logging into ZenDesk?

Kent, Deborah -

ZenDesk has recently changed the way users log in to create a ticket.  We used to log in using our email address.  Now ZenDesk wants us to use d158\ in front of our user name:

Before:         jsmith@district158.org

Now:            d158\jsmith

Password:  Your network password... the one you use when you log into your computer in the morning.

Be careful!!  You must use the backslash (above the Enter key) and not the forwardslash (below the question mark) or ZenDesk will give you the 404 error and won't let you log in.

If the box doesn't come up at all for you, that means that you need to delete your temporary Internet files.  To do that:

1.  Open Internet Explorer (not Chrome)

2.  Click Tools; select Delete Browsing History.

3.  Make sure that the first 4 boxes are checked and click Delete.

4.  Close completely out of Internet Explorer.

5.  Open it back up and tryagain, using the new format for the user name.
