Network passwords must be at least 5 characters long.

However, the longer the password, and the more variety of characters the better.  The most secure passwords include upper and lower case letters, symbols and numbers.

Examples of weak passwords include those that are:

    • short in length
    • a name of your child
    • your street name
    • your pet's name
    • your network user name  (probably the worst!)
    • your birthdate
